Carbon / Flexible Graphite Pump Packing This is a high bred packing made by combining two forms of high temperature carbon yarns (carbon & flexible graphite) in a way the takes advantage of each materials strengths. Strong carbon yarns are braided on the corners and though the core of the packing.Because of it's exceptional sealing properties, Flexible Graphite is braided to be exposed on all of the sealing area of the packing. The result is an exceptional, problem solving packing. Temperature: To 1250 F in steam, To 1050 F in atmosphere, pH 0-14 except strong oxidizers Speed 4000 FPM, Pressure: 3000 PSI, Construction: Interlock Braid

GFO Fiber - PTFE /Graphite Braided Packing The most popular packing on the market today! A combination of PTFE and graphite gives this packing its incredible lubricity that lasts the life of the packing. Because it is also conductive, heat that causes problems in pure PTFE packings is conducted away from the pump shaft, extending the life of both the packing and the shaft. Because lubricants do not need to be added to the packing there are no fine abrasives to wear the pump sleeve. Ideal for a wide range of applications. pH Range 0-14, Temperature Range: 500F Service Pressure: 300 PSI, Speed: 3600 fpm

GFO Packing with Kevlar Corners A very popular style in paper mills and waste water plants. This packing uses the strengths of two materials and combines them for an excellent packing for severe applications. The Kevlar corners on this packing provides strength at the points where packings start to fail (the corners). General Service Graphite and synthetic fiber pump packing 1398 is a general service synthetic pump packing containing graphite and petrolatum, plus a proprietary high temperature lubricant. Excellent leakage control is obtained by a coating that evens the surface and increases the sealing surface area. 1398 is ideal for rotating shafts and can handle mild acids and alkalis, air, industrial gases, salt solutions and water. Temperature: to 500 F, pH: 4-10, Speed: 1500 fpm, Pressure: To 300 PSI Construction: interlock braid
